Overview

Logging in to the Definition Center from iRise Studio with username case that differs from the way it is defined in the Definition Center can cause significant performance delays using iRise Studio. This article describes how to determine the case for your username so you can use that when logging-in to the Definition Center from iRise Studio. By doing this you will avoid these performance issues.

Identifying the case for your userid

In a default configuration the Definition Center is set to be case insensitive on logins. Setup this way the Definition Center will just as easily let you login as ds45236 or DS45236. To avoid the performance issues, the username you use to login from the Studio client must match the way it is defined in the Definition Center. To determine the way your username is specified in the Definition Center, login to the Definition Center with your username and password. In the upper right corner select your name, and then 'My Profile' to see your username.

Using the Correct Case to Log-in to the Definition Center from iRise Studio

Log-in to the Definition Center from Studio using the exact case as shows in the Definition Center UI for your username. For the example above that would look like this:
