Installing Avatar™ Tabs on Project Detail Tab

iRise Avatar™ software allows you to add new functionality to Definition Center without writing any code. The software is free and available to download from the Extensions section of iDocs & Extensions. This article explains how to install custom Avatar™ tabs on the Definition Center project detail tabs, as in the example below:

You must have Administrator privileges on the Definition Center in order to perform this task.

Import the downloaded iDoc onto the Definition Center. Tip: create a folder called DC Extensions to place your Avatar™ iDocs.

Play the project simulation.

Expand the Project Directory and click on the EMBED Loading Page chapter, then click on More Actions cog (top right) > Send link.

Select all the HTML snippet and copy to clipboard.

Go to the Administration section > Customizations and click on the Add Tab button in the Avatar™ Project Tabs section.

Add a title and paste the HTML snippet in the Text/HTML box. Press Save.

Play the project again. Expand the Project Directory and click on the EMBED Loading Page chapter, then press the Launch button. Close the project.

Change permissions on the Avatar™ project to allow all Definition Center users to access it.
