This article is in regards to the latest release of the iRise Mobile app named, 'iRise'. The app is available now in the the App Store.

There is a known issue with Apple's web container, in which we use for the iRise Mobile app, and self-signed or non-trusted certificates. The issue does not allow the user to successfully connect to the Definition Center via the app. Please follow the below steps in order to work around this issue.

  • The user will need both the root and intermediate certificate for the certificate authority that is signed Definition Center certificate

  • The user will need to import the root certificate first, then the intermediate certificate into their mobile device

  • Email the root and intermediate certificates to an email address accessible from their mobile device

  • Open the certificates from the user's mobile device’s email client, which should prompt the user to import it

  • Import it and connect
